The Strathcona Regional District is an incorporated local government located on the west coast of British Columbia , Canada.  It is responsible for providing a wide range of municipal services to its various constituent areas including water and sewer systems, fire protection, land use planning and emergency response.  The governing body for the Regional District is its Board of Directors which comprises 13 elected officials representing the municipalities and unincorporated electoral areas within its jurisdictional boundaries.
