* The city of Campbell River provides curbside recycling pickup for its residents.

RECYCLING
The CVRD maintains several recycling depot areas for the public to use. We partner with local businesses and organizations to find convenient locations for our large green multi-material recycling bins.

*THE POWER OF R is the power to reduce waste by rethinking, reusing and recycling. The waste reduction program is an initiative of the CVRD and forms an important part of our regional solid waste plan.

• A province-wide end-of-life electronics recycling program is now available to BC consumers and businesses. As of August 1, 2007, you can drop off regulated products at designated collection sites without charge, and be assured they will be recycled responsibly.
