Water Conservation & Restrictions:
Throughout the year, the Strathcona Regional District must restrict water usage in order to ensure residents have enough water to meet their basic needs.  Generally, the regional district maintains Stage 1 restrictions all year until the summer months when demand increases as the temperatures rise.  2017 has been a hot, dry summer, and for this reason, the regional district is asking Area D residents to find ways to minimize water use and conserve as much as possible. Any change to water restrictions will be advertised and posted on the web and shared via social media. See more
